Seven Skincare Sins (according to QVC)

OK, according to one of the home shopping networks of which I have been a loyal fan for 12 years, they had a show on last week on the Seven Skincare Sins. I'll list them for you and then let you decide if you are doing right by your own body! Just to brag, I only was guilty of one sin and that was #5. What about you?
1. Not wearing sunglasses and protecting your eyes- the retinas and skin around the eyes.
2. Not wearing sunscreen every single day, come rain or shine!
3. Having dry, dehydrated skin (moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!)
4. Picking blemishes. (Yuck!)
5. Over expressing- smiling, laughing, frowning. (Guilty as charged!)
6. Neglecting the neck- front AND back (the skin around the eyes and on the neck are the very thinnest and need special attention!)
7. Never exfoliating. (I told you about this before, so no need for more comment. Just know that I am yelling at you if you didn't take me up on it prior to this!)
If you have any questions or would like me to recommend some products, let me know. Otherwise, sin no more. my lovelies!!
See ya soon!

This is valuable information wrinkle wrangler. Although I believe that I take care of my skin, I will be the first to admit that I have committed some of these skincare sins. For example, over the years I have realized the importance of applying sunscreen everyday come rain or shine. I have a question wrinkle wrangler. Since the skin around the eyes and on the neck are the thinnest and need special attention, what product would you recommend for these areas in order to prevent my skin from becoming as wrinkled as a raisin? I do have to admit that I 'm guilty of #5 as well, but I do not think that it is necessarily a sin. I’m sure you agree. Keep smiling and keep laughing! Thanks for providing us with this important information. Keep "Em Coming....

haha. too funny that you have only sinned on #5.
yes, well, i have sinned on more than only one of those..but i am trying.

and products? the exfoliating face wash from dr. denese that my mom just bought me is so great! its not uber exfoliating so it doesnt hurt...but its just enough...and finally i'm going to do it!

anyway, looking forward to more wrinkle wrangler!

btw, i bought eye cream from the body shop (is that a sin?) and a couple months later, it was moldy inside! is that weird? i still used it...that might be even more weird...but it wasnt food or anything...but have you ever heard of that?? hmmm.

JenMac, I would be happy to recommend some eye and neck products that I can personally attest to: Dr. Denese, a dermatologist and anti aging skincare expert in NYC, has wonderful eye and neck products that can be gotten on QVC. com or her own website. She has done shows on public TV, also. She even has a brand new eye cream that has an SPF of 30! If you don't wish to go that route, Clientele is a great anti aging line that you can get at your local Nordstroms. One last option- you can always go to Ulta or Sephora and buy the Neutrogena products. Doctors always recommend that line. They are very reputable and effective. Keep your chin (and neck) up!! Thanks for writing!

BB, What a nice mother you have to get you your very own supply of Dr. Denese!! I'm really happy to hear that you are enjoying it, too! I also love the exfoliating wash from Philosophy, so keep one in your shower and one on your sink (for day and night). That's a very good point about an exfoliator not being scratchy. That should not happen in this day and age! They are now gentle while still being effective. Yea!
As for moldy eye creams, GIRL!!! Mold is not good in food or makeup (or bread, etc.)!! Especially around your eyes!! Oh me oh my!! Personally, I do not recommend buying such products from the Body Shop. I would rather you go to Sephora, Nordstroms or Ulta for makeup and skincare. Read my comments to Jen Mac about which eye creams to buy. Thanks for writing! Try to sin less!! hee! hee!
